After the winter rains, colourful native wildflowers blossomed across Noongar Boodja, bringing life and beauty to Country.
Beside the kep (waterways), the water flowed clear and fresh. Birds sang, fish moved beneath the surface, and flowers reflected in the gentle water.
The wildflowers and waterways were connected, each part of the living Country.
“We must care for Boodja,” Nanna said. “When we protect Country, Country protects us.”
And as the seasons changed, the flowers continued to bloom beside the pristine waterways, sharing their beauty with generations to come.
